Event Details

Join us at the library for a magical journey into the world of stories! Our Children’s “Tales & Tots” program is a place where imaginations take flight, and children of all ages delight in captivating tales, creating unforgettable memories.

This storytime event features local author Dr. Roxana Maffei Burciago, PhD, RN. Dr. Burciago will share her heartfelt children's picture book To My Little Onion, followed by an art project, and an opportunity to meet the author.

Roxana's book is a tender and inspiring story that follows a child with developmental delays through the metaphor of peeling back the layers of an onion. Each layer reveals growth, resilience, and inner strength, reminding readers that every step forward—no matter how small—is worth celebrating. Filled with love, patience, and hope, this beautifully written book honors the unique journey of children with developmental differences and the transformative power of understanding and support.

Registration is not necessary for this event.
