The library is pleased to present the return of Tai Chi class instruction. Tai Chi is the slow-moving, centuries old martial art which can help improve balance (both physical and mental), keep the body supple, aid in physical and emotional well-being, reduce stress, and help reduce blood pressure.

This 6-week series will focus on gentle low-impact cardio, functional fitness and Tai Chi inspired movements and relaxation. This class will have modifications and challenges for all.

These classes are designed for all ages and all fitness levels. Wear loose fitting clothing & flat shoes.

Phillip Coyle who already conducts our Energize Zoom class, is our instructor.  Phil  has been trained by the National Academy of Sports Medicine in functional fitness training and group training. He is an advanced teacher of Power Pilates and is practitioner of Eden Energy Medicine E.E.M.-C.P.  In addition, Phil is a certified Tai Chi instructor and a doctor of Chinese medicine.
