This virtual presentation covers an era from the signing of the Declaration of Independence to the opening of the Erie Canal, providing insights and history as to New York developed from a British colony to the largest and wealthiest American city.  A pesentation by the New York Historical Society in celebration of Independence Day on July 4th!  Join us!
