The Library is pleased to present The Jones Factor Lite in their premier performance in Pound Ridge.  Led by Pound Ridge resident, John Fumasoli, The Jones Factor Lite is A Power House of Jazz, Soul & Serious Funk! The Lite, sextet version of the popular 10 Piece The Jones Factor, will be performing the hottest Jazz with a serious R&B, Soul and Funk edge. Same Full Flavor With Only 1/2 The Calories!

Rob Aries - Piano (Average White Band, Bill Evans, John Scofield, Liza Minelli), Dave Anderson - Bass (Smokey Robinson, Bob Baldwin, Bernie Williams, Special EFX), Tyger MacNeal - Drums (Average White Band, Rosemary Clooney, The Four Tops, Jose Feliciano), Chris Pasin - Trumpet, Flugelhorn (Buddy Rich, Frank Sinatra, Jack McDuff, Roland Vazquez).

 John Fumasoli has had a distinguished career as a performer and music educator. With over 50 years in the “biz” he has experienced great joy recording with Jeff Golub, the Average White Band, Marion Meadows,Bobby Baldwin, Robby Dupree, Shelby Lynne, Dr. John, Jose’ Feliciano, Roger Ball, Brian Torff’s Thunderstick and New Duke, Sonny Costanzo, Ed Bonoff’s Rhythm Devils and over 100 recordings for “Pocket Records”. In addition, John has performed in concert with Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Diana Ross, the Rippingtons, the Gil Evans Band, BB King, Cab Calloway, the Four Tops, the Temptations, Sammy Davis Jr., John Tropea, Vic Juris, Chieli Minucci, and Johnny Mathis, to name a few. At present he is on the faculty of Fairfield University and taught band in the Fairfield Public Schools for 40 years, and has previously taught at Housatonic Community College, The University of Bridgeport, and in the Westport Public Schools. John has numerous compositions and arrangements published by D.I.D. publishing and writes regularly for the Jones Factor.
