The Museum of Modern Art, in midtown Manhattan, is one of the most influential art museums in the world. Its collection offers an overview of modern and contemporary art, as well as architecture, design, sculpture and drawings. Visit some of the most famous and spectacular works from the past century and a half. Learn about its humble beginnings founded by the unstoppable Abigail Aldrich Rockefeller, and how the Rockefeller family has shaped the arts world as we know it today. We’ll discover famous works from Picasso, Van Gogh, Matisse and more, and see how each one influenced the artists who came after them. Come join this fascinating program presented in-person by Marisa Horowitz-Jaffe, educator & founder of “Museums with Marisa."
